This short FAQ will help you understand the Billing Process of SendX, and how you are charged based on the number of contacts in your account.

  • What happens if the number of contacts in my lists go beyond the current plan?

As the number of contacts increase, you are upgraded to a higher tier in your SendX plan. If you have 1500 contacts, you will be charged according to the prices written above.
You can click on the arrow to the right of the number of contacts, and choose your desired number of contacts to see the pricing for that tier (the Plans & Pricing can be found here).

  • How will I be billed when I get upgraded to the higher tier?

The billing when upgraded to a higher tier will be done at the end of the NEXT month. The previous tier's bill amount will be added up as Unbilled Contacts for that month and will be billed accordingly.

So if you are currently below the 1500 Contacts tier and your billing cycle begins on 2nd of every month, and your list size goes above 1500 on 17th of that month, you will be upgraded to the next tier on 17th and you will have uninterrupted marketing automation campaigns and tools. The difference between the upper tier and lower tier will be added up as Unbilled Contacts and you will be billed at the 2nd of the NEXT month (which would be $10.00 + $29.99 = $39.99). Your billing will resume at $29.99 from the next cycle.

Note: In some rare cases, SendX may ask you to pay for the Unbilled Contacts before the end of the next billing cycle.

  • What happens if the number of contacts in my lists go below the current plan?

If the number of contacts go below the current tier plan, you will be downgraded to the previous tier. So if you were on the 2500 contacts tier and the contacts size decreases to or below 1500, you will be downgraded to the previous tier.

  • How will I be billed when I get downgraded to a lower tier?

When you are downgraded to a lower tier, your new pricing will begin from the following billing cycle. The ongoing billing cycle will be charged at the previous tier's pricing.
So if you're currently on the 2500 Contacts tier and your billing cycle begins on 7th of every month, on downgrading to the 1500 Contacts Tier on 16th of that month, SendX will start charging you $19.99 from the 7th of the NEXT month. The current month (or billing cycle) will be charged at the previous plan pricing ie $29.99.
